Sea Star Cottage #6 at Explore Acadia Cottages

HIGHLY recommend staying here. The cottage was so clean and Sara definitely goes above a beyond with what is provided. Toiletries, cleaning products, laundry/dish detergent iron/ironing board, ALL the kitchen supplies, etc - you name it and it was there! There is also a very helpful binder with all kinds of recommendations which we loved. Sara was very responsive & quick to answer our questions. If we ever go back, we will definitely stay here again.

Had a great stay, would come back again. Perfect home base for exploring Acadia.

My husband and I enjoyed five nights in the cabin on our first trip to MDI. As advertised, it is about a ten minute drive to Bar Harbor which made it the perfect location for us. It is also walking distance to Hadley Point, a quiet and beautiful beach. We had a peaceful cabin with a full, well stocked kitchen, sitting area, comfortable bedroom, and private deck all for a price that was comparable to a room in a chain hotel down in Bar Harbor proper. The cabin was immaculate and well appointed, everything looked brand new. The host provided a binder with many recommendations for enjoying the area, we actually carried it with us in the car when we went out. Check out is at 10:00 AM and host requests stripping the beds, starting laundry, and removing all trash, similar to other rentals where we have stayed. We would definitely rebook here on a return trip.
