"This cottage made our visit to the island all the more enjoyable! It felt like a home and we made many memories sitting around the campfire, walking down to Hadley Point Beach, playing Uno at the breakfast table, and relaxing on the front porch. We LOVED the coziness and quietness of this little cottage community and how close it is to downtown Bar Harbor (but also how it's an escape from the hustle and bustle). We also loved the very unique touches with the decor and local resources. We especially loved the locally roasted coffee (we even bought some as a souvenir). The beds were very comfortable and allowed us to wake up feeling fully-rested for our busy days exploring! We will be back!"

"I am so thrilled to have been among the first guests at Explore Acadia Cottages! The space was immaculate, well thought-out, and contained everything we could have needed. The kitchen was well equipped down to Tupperware for leftovers. The climate control was easy to use with a remote control for the heat/AC mini split system. We appreciated the tiny touches like local coffee gift upon check-in, a stocked bathroom with first aid kit and hair dryer, and maps and guide books for Acadia. Check in was all virtual, and the lights were left on for us due to a night arrival. We enjoyed our final night by the bonfire, enjoying the serenity with the sound of the peepers in the woods. Sara was accessible with whatever questions we had. She is as kind as can be and can't wait to welcome more guests. She gave awesome recommendations and made sure to ask what our ideas for improvements were (really had none). We would absolutely come back here for our next stay!

"We really enjoyed our 2 night stay! The cottage was so clean and everything brand new. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals. The hosts really thought out so many small details that made it easy for our family of 5 to stay here....like we forgot our white noise machine for our youngest kid, but they had one in the bedroom! Surroundings are wooded and quiet and some amazing bird songs and a great little path through the woods to the nearby beach. I highly recommend this spot, especially for families!

"I would stay again in a heart beat...very comfortable, very updated, very clean and a convenient drive to everything. The books on hiking, biking, Acadia, etc. were very very helpful. We enjoyed the walk through their trail to the beach one morning. We also enjoyed their Ravensburger puzzle one evening."

"Absolute perfect location and lovely property. Exactly as described with unexpected extra touches of plentiful supplies of anything you could possibly need. The washer and dryer in the unit was a huge bonus being on a longer vacation. The location is super convenient to the park, Bar Harbor, and Ellsworth - perfect distance from all. There is a wonderful path at the back of the property to walk down to a beach. Our family of four enjoyed the cottage. The hosts are super responsive and very on top of things with plentiful information and communication every step of the way. Highly recommend this property!"

"Wagon Wheel Farm House was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We traveled with 5 adults, so the rooms and beds were perfect for our needs. The linens were high-quality and everything was clean and organized. We used the grill and the back patio and fire pit both day and night - what a nice setting to relax at the end of a day exploring Acadia and shopping in town, or to sip coffee in the mornings. Check-in, Check-out instructions were easy and straight-forward. We highly recommend this house for families!"

"We had a fantastic stay at Wagon Wheel Farm. It is clear that Sara and Davin really put some nice touches on their place which made us feel comfortable and welcome. Lots of natural light, a cozy sunroom, spacious deck with ample seating and a fire pit were all great aspects of the home. We enjoyed the native coffee they provided which was delicious. Bathrooms were clean with nice linens. TV with different streaming services was nice for the rainy day. Laundry on site was clutch and the sink was the bomb! Nice appliances. Parking spaces were private from other areas on the lot."

"We recently vacationed here with our family, 7 adults and two children and we had a fantastic time! The house is big, beautiful and clean. We had a ton of room to spread out. It has everything you could possibly need to make it a home away from home for a week. The back yard is huge and was our favorite spot to hang out at night around the fire pit. The path to Hadley Point beach was well maintained and the beach was a nice spot. The house is close to all the Bar Harbor and Acadia have to offer, but away from the crowds. I would definitely stay here again.

"We loved staying at Sea Glass Cottage in Bar Harbor! The location was great. It was an easy drive into downtown Bar Harbor. The house itself was so cozy and absolutely perfect for what we needed. We ended up cooking a bunch, and the kitchen was well stocked. The patio was beautiful for soaking up the sun as well. Sara was very responsive and helpful for anything we needed. 10/10 would recommend!"
