Sea Star Cottage #6 at Explore Acadia Cottages

Wife and I spent a long weekend at the Sea Star cottage and it was great. The cottages appear to be very new and are well appointed and comfortable. The check-in and check-out process was very easy and the hostess communicated very clearly (instructions and local recommendations). The location is a perfect distance from the chaos of downtown Bar Harbor while offering easy access to pretty much everything on MDI. We spent plenty of time on the eastern side of the island (in and around downtown Bar Harbor), but we also ventured to the central and western sides of the island for various activities and were very thankful for the easy (traffic-free) routes the cottage's location afforded. Don't miss the trail that goes from the back of the property down to Hadley Point. It is a really great experience and a great way to begin or end a busy day in Acadia! We'll definitely be back!

Great place! We would definitely recommend this place. Every convenience was there. The washer and dryer were a smart addition. Location was great, quiet and away from all the hustle and bustle. And several restaurants nearby.

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay in this cute, clean home. The kitchen was well stocked with games and guide materials/recommendations in the living room. Our host was quick in reaching out with recommendations and comments on the home. We would definitely stay there again.

Short trip to see the area, but would happily stay here again! Excellent communication, suggestions/info on things to do, super clean and cute with plenty of room for all of us. We were traveling with our daughter & her boyfriend, so having the bunk bed option was perfect.We enjoyed the bouy marked trail through the woods, the campfire, and surrounding area very much!! Great overall experience - thank you!!
