Hadley Point Hideaway, Quiet & Peaceful

Our stay at the Hadley Point Hideaway was fantastic and exactly as advertised. The bungalow was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The setting is very private and wooded with lots of local wildlife—just be mindful of deer crossings when driving in! It is a short, beautiful walk to the Hadley Point waterfront and incredibly convenient for exploring Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The owners greeted us warmly upon arrival and were super friendly, yet the property is designed so well that we felt completely separated and had total privacy. We will definitely stay at the Hideaway again on our next trip back!

Our stay at this property was exceptional from the moment we arrived and welcomed by our host, Sara. Nestled in a beautifully wooded setting, the home offers a peaceful, private retreat while remaining just a short drive from Bar Harbor and conveniently close to one of the main entrances to Acadia National Park. The property itself was immaculate—every room was spotless and thoughtfully prepared. The kitchen is spacious and well-stocked with everything needed for cooking and daily living, which made settling in effortless. We especially appreciated the soft, fresh linens and towels, the variety of comfortable sleeping options, and all the thoughtful extras throughout the home. The collection of books, games, and toys made it welcoming for guests of all ages. It’s clear the owners have put tremendous care into creating a space that is both beautiful and comfortable. We would return without hesitation and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing stay near Acadia.

Place is very nice, very clean. Fully equipped kitchen, toy and books for the kids, really there is really nothing negative that can be said. Perfect home away home. Sarah’s recommendation were spot on. We have been in Acadia multiple times and this is by far the best place. I wish I knew it before. Next time we come to Acadia / Bar Habor we will stay here.

We loved our time at Hadley Point Hideaway. The space was perfect for our family of 4 and my boys loved the loft space with lots of kids toys. Also we really appreciated having a cooler to take our picnic lunch with us to Acadia. Sara's recommendations for hikes and restaurants were great. We enjoyed our daily visit of the sweet dog that lives in the main house. We would definitely stay again!

Hadley Point Hideaway was the perfect place for my wife, son and me to spend our Bar Harbor vacation! Close to everything, but far enough to be out of the touristy areas! We loved hiking through Acadia and enjoyed the great restaurants! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this great VRBO experience!!!
