Sea Song Cottage at Explore Acadia Cottages

We stayed at the Sea Song cottage the first week of August 2026 with our family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 kids 8-11. We have stayed at our fair share of rentals and this was incredibly well stocked! The bathroom shower supplies, hand soaps, kitchen soap, laundry detergents, trash bags and paper products were all GREATLY appreciated. You never know of they will be there at rentals and when they are, it is such a benefit. This house also provided 4 beach chairs and many beach towels which we used ever other day for visits to Hadley Point beach. We saw many seals down there and had a final campfire with friends also staying at Explore Acadia the last night. We also made a few campfires at the house and grilled and ate on the large deck with our extended party of 9. The location of this house was perfect for exploring all parts of Acadia. Approx 25 minutes from the west side hikes and same diatance from park loop road sights. We also traveled to Schoodic one day which wasn't bad at all appeox 1 hour (one of our favorites). There are delicious spots to eat closeby and we enjoyed C-Ray lobsters on the back deck with all the cracking utensils provided by the house. The only negative to this house was the road noise. If you have sensitive hearing or trouble falling asleep like one person in our party, make sure you plan ahead with headphones or ear plugs. It was just a nuisance managed with fans and the noise machines provided for the rest of the family and we still had an amazing trip! The kids were sad to leave.

This place was incredible. We had a group of 7 ladies. It was comfortable, super clean, cozy, and at a great location.

We enjoyed our stay at Sea Song. The place was very clean with lots of character & I especially appreciated the wallpaper. The kitchen was well stocked & a nice coffee bar. The kids had lots of fun with the assortment of games. Also made good use of the hiking booklets. Communication was excellent, I would recommend to anyone visiting the Acadia area. Only one note there is one shower downstairs but we took turns.

We loved this place. It was clean, spacious, and had everything we could have needed.The traffic noise was annoying- we really appreciated the sound machine! The main disappointment is that VRBO listed this home as having 2 full bathrooms. The only shower is downstairs, so both upstairs bedrooms have to come downstairs to shower. We made it work (there were only 4 of us), but it was an inconvenience. We thought we were paying fpr 2 full baths allowing each couple to have their own.
